NYC-dwelling visionary and electronic producer Aire Atlantica has been one of the most consistent artists in the elctro-fusion atmosphere in recent years. Continuously challenging his own innovation, Aire returns with his single, "Red Love” featuring Greg Aram. Moments of hip-hop roll gracefully alongside dreamy, digitally charming production. A blanket of a self-defined swagger encapsulates this swinging cut. Well balanced and enticing to boot, “Red Love” is a testament to Aire’s artistic depth and versatility.
FINNEAS - LANDMINE (AIRE ATLANTICA REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentA beautiful parallel between two rising artists comes Aire Atlantica’s remix of FINNEAS’ “Landmine.” Built upon golden pillars, Aire’s treatment is an echoing chamber of tangible art. AM radio-esque vocals cascade atop spacious, ethereal undertones. As rustic tones expel themselves from the bottom layer of the piece, this rendition of “Landmine” is an easy listen with an acute attention to the technical side of production. This slackened joint is perfect for a day-off, or on. Join us on this graceful journey through a myriad of sounds and feelings.
[PREMIERE] AIRE ATLANTICA - THINGS I HATE ABOUT U (FT. TZAR)
PREMIERE, Music, Original Mix1 CommentThis ish goes harddd! So incredibly stoked and honored to get to premiere this track for you today. It immediately intrigues you from the beginning and picks up energy gradually as Tzar starts to air out her feelings toward her love/hate relationship partner. And then Aire Atlantica’s commanding production envelops you and begins to take hold over every part of your body and mind that responds to bass. The snappiest of trap snares crack over a swaying hip hop beat with an assortment of rich synth chords guiding the melodic line. Vocal chops provide striking moments of expression as staccato accents on Tzar’s legato lyric delivery. By all of this, what I’m really trying to say is that Aire goes IN on this track and I hope to see this live on a massive sound system at some point, but for now my headphones will do just fine.

AIRE ATLANTICA - ON MY OWN (FT. EMILY TERRAN)
Music, Original MixCommentWhile 2017 was a complete and collective disaster, the new year is full of promise and hope. 2018 is making strong women stronger, revolutions are in bloom, and the world of music is looking towards a new horizon. Although 2017 was saturated with heartbreak, it was a prominent year for artists of all trades. It was late 2017 when I first discovered the "September born music producer from NYC," Aire Atlantica. In the midst of a wide-spread American meltdown, I found peace almost exclusively through music, and my serendipitous discovery of Aire Atlantica played a key role in keeping me sane. His taste is distinct, yet strays from the stagnant. His latest release, "On My Own" featuring Park City's female vocalist Emily Terran is a vibrant, indie-electronic piece blending bouncy production punctuated by an R&B-esque cadence. Aire Atlantica's signature production shines and lays the groundwork for Terran's voice to glow. "On My Own" is a bubbly track yet yields moments of sharp intensity, showcasing AA's diverse dexterity. Terran's deeply feminine voice is not necessarily enticing, rather, a demanding force. The duo's musical aesthetic bleeds authenticity in "On My Own" as they blend genres and continue solidifying their come up with a finely tuned synchronicity.
ASHE - USED TO IT (AIRE ATLANTICA REMIX)
Remix, MusicCommentAshe is a familiar name to our blog pages. The airy indie pop vocalist is known for her work with a slew of rising electronic producers such as Whethan, Louis The Child, Ben Phipps, and Win and Woo to name a few. She recently launched her solo career with a strong debut, a jazzy bop full of laissez-faire attitude called “Used To It."
A name that has surprisingly not yet been featured on the blog is Aire Atlantica. Another rising artist, Aire Atlantica is a “september born music producer from nyc” according to his FB page. He’s released some killer electronic remixes for the likes of Hotel Garuda, Billie Eilish, and K.Flay with his remix of “Blood In The Cut” probably being my favorite. Also be sure to check out his new originals which are more in the dance-pop crossover lane but are equally pleasing to the ear.
This latest remix of Aire’s comes via Ashe’s label Mom + Pop Records. It’s a bright new take on the record that almost feels as if Ashe is singing from aboard a 2048 space station instead of 2017 Venice Beach, California. That’s the best way I can describe it. I’ll just have to keep bumping this one in my car in LA until I can afford a trip outside the stratosphere.
